What's new here:
 | Team Chesapeake is run by Paul Brown and Team Chesapeake. Due to time
and financial constraints, some of the previous content of the site is no
longer supported. I would like everyone to remember that the original
PURPOSE of this website was to provide a platform for people who are
interested in running Chesapeakes in Field Trials. It was a long
process that brought us to this point in time. There was talk about
discontinuing the site, but I thought I could keep it going for those
dedicated individuals who are in the last series every weekend, and to give
hope to those of us that wish to be in the last series in the future. Field Trials
are a tough game. For all of you that give it your best shot, WE
SALUTE YOU! |

 | We respect and appreciate the fact that people like to pursue other activities with their Brown Dogs. As long as your dog is not chained to a tree in your back yard for 11 months out of the year, that's fine with us! Keep up the good work! We don't offer a venue for those activities here, but it's not that we are opposed to them, it is just off our main topic. Our goal at Team Chesapeake is to keep the Brown Dogs competitive in Field Trials.
We hope that providing
people with the information contained in these pages helps forward that
aim. We'd really enjoy it if everyone would join us. For those that miss the old content of the site, there are still some
features that may be of interest. Field Trial results will be posted
as usual. Test results may be posted on
the Hunt Test forum on The
Brown Dog Message Board. Articles and posts of interest in the
areas of hunting, training, and care of the athletic dog are always
welcome. Part of the purpose of Team Chesapeake is to get as many
people and dogs involved in the field sports as possible. We will
need many dogs of various genetic backgrounds if we wish to continue having
dogs stay competitive over the long haul. So get out and train, and we
hope to see you in the field! |
