Blood Tracking

Postby Cichester » Wed Feb 12, 2020 1:53 pm

Hello everyone

It has been quite a while since I posted. My last was for my boy “Butch” and his food aggression.
Butch became the best dog I ever had. We lost him recently to something the vets couldn’t explain. Seemed like he went blind for a period and regained it. Then started losing muscle function. It was a sad day.

What brings me back today we have got a new girl now and was curious about this.
Has anyone ever had any experience training their CBR to track wounded deer?

After day three of trying this I would be comfortable saying they can do it successfully.
She’s 14 weeks old and she’s gotten to the end of the blood trail out to 100 yards.

i have buddies who have done it with them. I personally have not. Hell, if a lab can do it, you know damn well a chess can!
