Nash @ 5 months

Postby chadjmc » Fri Sep 29, 2017 6:52 pm

I posted a couple of months ago, and wanted to give a little update. Nash will be 5 months tomorrow. He is a LOAD weighing in at 42lbs a few weeks ago. Hes doing land/water retrieves, obedience is coming along nicely. He was dropping dummys and carrying by the ends, but then I realized that he was losing his puppy teeth and he really had no teeth (yet) between his canines and his very back teeth! I took him to a dove shoot (second pic) as more of a fun exercise than anything. He was more interested at staring at me than watching/marking the sky, but he sniffed out and picked up over 20 birds between me and my 10 y/o. He even got "baptized" in blood as you can see the drop on his head!

My Hamish is a very similar age but not nearly so robust as Nash who is a very handsome young fellow, you must be proud of him. Mine seems to be all legs, tail and ears. Just this month I notice he is starting to fill in a bit. He is the same colour and looks to have the same attitude to life.
