Time to finally simplify color classifications?

Time to finally simplify color classifications?

This drives me crazy. Many pups are registered with color identifications that are not characteristic of their final adult color. I think it is time to eliminate dark and light from both the brown and deadgrass registration codes. Often left to the chose of new owners, choses have a high probability of being incorrect. At one of our recent club training days a member said to me that she once owned a brindle bitch. I almost flipped out, but kept my calm and said that's nice. JMHO, but is time for just brown, deadgrass, tan, and sedge.

What do you with the CBRs that are "camelilions"?

I have a brown dog in the winter that turns deadgrass in the summer. He's likes classic fashion, "no white after Labor Day". ;)

It doesn’t appear that my posts or comments are showing up. But don’t most dogs do this?
